Improvement for Azure Plan cancellations

In this release, we are using Microsoft's Resource Management API to check if resources are connected to an entitlement when canceling an Azure Plan. If there are resources attached to the Azure Plan during cancellation, a new error message will prompt users to remove the resources using the Azure portal before proceeding with the cancellation.

Previously, users were not informed about the reason for unsuccessful cancellations. With the new update, the cancellation flow will now check for linked resources after a user submits the cancellation request and provides feedback through the new message. This improvement can be seen in both self-serve and assisted sales cancellation flows, as well as from the entitlement panel.

note

This improvement is only available for Microsoft reseller-enabled marketplaces configured to sell Azure products and has an active Azure Plan subscription.
